Mention the word island and most people think of places like Caribbean, Bahamas, Aruba, Turks and Caicos, and other tourist-rich dollops of sand or any well-deserved images of crystal-clear waters and white-sand beaches. And there's no question: If you like sun and sand, islands are great for a vacation.
But move there? When Doris decided that she wanted more nature in her life, everyone assumed she will go camping by the sea or in the mountains. But the nature she had in mind was bigger, greener and far more spirit-nourishing than any outdoor space she knew. She decided to move to an island, a lush paradise playground with endless opportunities for swimming, diving, surfing and more.
Few days ago she arrived with her bags to the island that will be her future home. It is a dot of an island in the ocean. She never had a chance to grow up on the water and this is her dream come true. To have a dream house on a tropical beach, have a tan, be relaxed and happy.
