One night in Cairo, the detective duo of Daniel Reed and Laila Hassan is called to a mansion belonging to nobility after an item of historical value belonging to a personal collection disappears from there; they find a bizarre set of clues amid antiques, gold, and belongings, but no signs of any sort of break-in.
The clue leads them through the moonlit streets, where a young woman, Mary, gives them a lead. As Daniel and Layla investigate the obscure tools and the obscure corners, they unravel the mystery of the lost item.
